About BAA 2026

The 22nd Annual Conference and Exhibition of the British Academy of Audiology (BAA) takes place on 29–30 October 2026 at ACC Liverpool, part of the Liverpool Experience Campus (LEX) on the city's waterfront.

The BAA is the largest association of hearing and balance professionals in the United Kingdom. Its membership extends beyond the UK and covers specialists delivering hearing healthcare in both public and private settings. The Academy aims to support professional development, set quality benchmarks and strengthen audiology as an autonomous profession.

The annual conference is the largest meeting in the UK audiology calendar. The 21st conference, held in Telford in 2025, drew around 600 delegates and more than 50 exhibiting companies and organisations.

Opening: Thursday 29 October at 09:00 in the main auditorium. Badge collection: 16:00–19:00 on Wednesday 28 October, 08:00 on Thursday 29 October, 08:15 on Friday 30 October.

Why Attend?

  • Free papers selected from submitted abstracts, plus poster sessions.
