
The 4th Congress of Otology and Neurotology in the Black Sea Region is held in Trabzon on 10–12 June 2027. In the invitation, congress president Prof. Mahmut Tayyar Kalcıoğlu describes Trabzon as "a true emblem of the Black Sea" and anticipates participation from Europe, Asia, the Americas, Africa and the Middle East.
The congress banner states that the meeting is held jointly with the 4th International Symposium of the German-Turkish Otorhinolaryngology Society, under the International Black Sea Otology and Neuro-otology Association.

The scientific scope stated in the invitation: otology and neurotology, cochlear implantation, implantable hearing devices, hearing loss and rehabilitation, vestibular disorders and auditory genetics.
Valid official credentials are required at registration for student and resident rates. Early bird registration closes on 15 March 2027, but abstract submission closes earlier, on 28 February 2027.

The scientific program spans three days and four parallel halls (Halls 1–4). It includes an opening ceremony, sessions, coffee and lunch breaks, and a closing ceremony.

According to the Important Dates page of the official website, abstract submission closes on 28 February 2027 and acceptance notifications are sent on 7 March 2027. Abstracts are presented as oral presentations or printed posters.
If the presenting author does not complete congress registration, the abstract is not included in the scientific program.

The local organizing committee comprises ten members from universities in the Black Sea region (Trabzon, Samsun, Giresun, Rize). The local scientific committee includes around 150 physicians and audiologists; the international scientific committee features specialists from more than 40 countries.
The first figure is the early bird rate (before 15 March 2027), the second applies from 15 March 2027. Students and residents must provide valid official credentials during registration.

The official language of the congress and all official correspondence is English. Real-time AI translation is provided in all parallel session halls via mobile devices. Attendees receive personalized badges for access to sessions and exhibitions; certificates of attendance are distributed via email after the congress. An exhibition area accommodates industry and publisher booths.
