About EFAS 2027

The 18th Congress of the European Federation of Audiology Societies (EFAS) will take place on 2–5 June 2027 in Odense, Denmark, on the campus of the University of Southern Denmark (SDU). The official page describes it as a 3.5-day conference; according to EFAS, the congress is organised by Dr. Tobias Neher.

The programme will combine panel discussions and moderated talks in focus sessions with an industry exhibition. The congress language is English, with no simultaneous translation.

The previous EFAS congress was held in Vienna in 2025; the next (19th) congress will be in Lyon, France, on 16–19 May 2029.

The congress will be held at the University of Southern Denmark (Syddansk Universitet), Campusvej 55, 5230 Odense M. For car navigation, use Fioniavej 34, 5230 Odense M.

Getting There

  • The nearest major airport is Copenhagen; direct trains run hourly to Odense (about 1 h 45 min).
  • For sessions, take the tram to the “SDU University” stop (2nd stop from the central station).
  • The welcome reception on 2 June is at the university main entrance (“Campus Odense” stop); the congress dinner is at ODEON (Odeons Kvarter 1, Odense C).
  • Hotel allotments have been secured in different price categories.
