About ESPO 2027

The 18th Congress of the European Society of Pediatric Otorhinolaryngology (ESPO) takes place on 17–20 April 2027 at the Prague Congress Centre in Prague, Czech Republic. The congress theme is “Prague as a Unifying European City”.

The organising committee's message notes that Czech paediatric otorhinolaryngology flourished through pioneering advances in endoscopy and otosurgery, around two leading centres in Prague and Brno.

The congress covers the whole of paediatric ENT; with topics such as paediatric otology and childhood hearing loss, it is also of interest to audiologists.

Abstract Submission

Abstracts are submitted online only, until 30 November 2026.

  • Abstracts must be in English.
  • Up to 250 words; title up to 20 words.
  • Structure: Objectives, Methods, Results and Conclusions.
  • Standard abbreviations only; abstracts cannot be modified after submission.
  • Each abstract is allocated to the most suitable topic.
  • Presenting authors must be registered at least two months before the congress.

🏆 ESPO 2027 Junior Awards

Three awards of EUR 250 for scientists, medical doctors, PhD students or post-doctoral candidates under 45 working in paediatric otorhinolaryngology. Indicate interest during abstract submission; the deadline is 30 November 2026.

RegistrationPrague & Accommodation

Congress Venue

The congress is held at the Prague Congress Centre (Kongresové centrum Praha) in Vyšehrad.

According to the official site, the centre sits directly above Vyšehrad metro station, two stops from the historic centre, about 10 minutes from the main railway station and about 30 minutes from the airport.

Visa

The Czech Republic is part of the Schengen area; depending on your citizenship, you may need a Schengen visa.
