Description

The Abbreviated Profile of Hearing Aid Benefit (APHAB) is a scale that assesses the hearing-related difficulties hearing aid users experience in various everyday situations and the extent to which these difficulties are resolved by hearing aid use. The questionnaire comprises 24 items in total and assesses four subscales: Ease of Communication (EC), Background Noise (BN), Reverberation (RV) and Aversiveness (AV).
