Description

The Hearing Implant Sound Quality Index (HISQUI19) is a self-assessment questionnaire developed for cochlear implant users aged 18 and above. Through 19 items, it assesses users' individual perceptions of auditory benefit and their sound-quality experiences in everyday listening situations. Studies have shown that the Turkish version of the HISQUI19 is a valid and reliable assessment tool for adult cochlear implant users. It provides clinicians with valuable information for determining the subjective benefit patients derive from a cochlear implant.

Measured Properties

Subjective assessment of sound quality and auditory benefit as perceived by cochlear implant users in everyday listening environments.

Target Population

Cochlear implant users aged 18 and above
