This questionnaire was developed to assess individuals' ability to identify the source of sound (localization) under different listening conditions (noisy and quiet environments) and the psychological effects of this. The scale comprises 24 items in total and includes subdomains such as "traffic," "outdoor," "indoor" and "psychological impact." A 5-point Likert-type scoring (1=Never, 5=Always) is used; a higher score reflects greater difficulty with auditory localization.
An individual's ability to determine the direction of sound in noisy and quiet environments, in traffic, and indoors and outdoors, and the psychological impact of localization difficulty.
Normal-hearing individuals aged 18–60 and adults with bilateral hearing loss.
