Description

The Hearing Handicap Inventory for the Elderly (HHI-E) is a self-report scale developed to assess the social and emotional difficulties associated with hearing loss in older adults. Respondents answer the hearing-related problems they encounter in daily life as "Yes," "Sometimes," or "No." The scale can be used in clinical assessment and in building individual awareness.
