FOCUS-34 is a 34-item parent-report measure of communicative participation in preschool children. It consists of two parts (23 and 11 items) and eight subscales distributed across the capacity and performance components of the ICF-CY. Items are rated on a seven-point scale and the total score ranges from 34 to 238, where a higher score indicates better communicative participation.
